They really won't, in the same way that comic books or a movie are not the best ways to put Pushing Daisies to rest. Life isn't the same without PD on Thursday nights, but then again I need to catch up on The Tudors. Plus, prospects for the Arrested Development movie are looking good right now, if only Michael Cera doesn't screw it. Oh come on, family love, George Michael!

I hate that most of my happiness depends on TV lately. That, and French class with Daniel Radcliffe-esque prof, who is getting hilarious by the week. But that's another story.

Sigh, the stages of death. As Olive puts it, "What are the stages of death? Something, something, something, something, acceptance?"

1. Trixie winning a microwave oven and hearing [info]supergelatogirl and I laugh about it from about 30 ft away

2. "What?! Michael Slezak is free next Monday night, David Cook. So am I. We'll be sucking down mojitos at the bar across the street from our office around 7:30 p.m. Just sayin'." - Annie Barrett over at PopWatch

3. Arrested Development RTing my AD twit. Anything for the love of AD.

4. Astrodiva's spot-on reading for Chuck and [info]dramashit. Seriously though, guys, it makes sense!

5. [info]dramashit's types: the dirty musician/poet or the Jollibee guy.

6. Tobias Fünke (I love him): "I bought you a wedding ring...tone."

7. My parents debating on my exact birth time. Mom - 10:45AM, Daddy - around 3:45PM. This is the disadvantage of not making it to the hospital.

8. Bimbo on "Jobarack Obinay."

9. Sarah Palin is Bitter Ocampo.

10. RPattz confirming that Twatlight is SMeyer's masturbatory fantasy. FOR THE WIN. Not that the whole world doesn't know already.

OMG it's GOB in Sesame Street!

Okay, he's another magician but he's still very GOB. Hahaha. I love Will Arnett <3

And Tina Fey as Sarah Palin was funnier the second time around. "Every morning, when Alaskans wake up, one of the first things they do is look outside to see if there are any Russians hanging around. If there are, you gotta go up to them and ask, 'What are you doing here?' and if they can't give you a good reason, it's our responsibility to say, you know, 'Shoo! Get back over there!'"

So I remembered this quote from Arrested Development and I got the NBSB-related sadness crap again:

Oops

No, I was going to say you're like this flower. And I know it's springtime, but I hate to see you get plucked by someone who doesn't even care that you're blossoming.

Plus points for Michael Cera because it sounds so genuine when he says it.

I'm sorry for the AD and Michael Cera flood again. Ignore me, I'm just trying to distract myself.

You know, I've always been into older guys, so it's kinda weird when I get a terrible crush on someone as young as Michael Cera.

Boys + guitars = deadly

Aside from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (thanks, Macy! I found the first chapter in Randomhouse), he's also starring in Youth in Revolt. God, I can't believe I'm excited about teen movies AGAIN. It feels like a second childhood thing...or it could be that weird fascination for coming of age films.

Anyway, how'd you like the new AD-inspired layout and mood theme? Not entirely my creation, of course, just got 'em off different AD LJ communities. Nothing can make me smile more now than my latest favorite fictional family. Finally finished the whole series last Saturday and I'm dying to watch the movie. Just do it, guys, COME ON!

Dammit, I'm down to my last two episodes of Arrested Development. Withdrawal headache coming up! So anyway, here are my top ten favorite quotes from this show. I wanted to include G.O.B.'s background music--"The Final Countdown"--but a whole load of "ten-nen-nen...ten ten ten" doesn't sound funny in print.

My top ten favorite AD quotes

10. Lindsay Funke: Did you enjoy your meal, Mom? You drank it fast enough.
Lucille: Not as much as you enjoyed yours. You want the belt to buckle, not your chair.
[server sets a dessert of Bananas Foster on fire]
Lucille: You might want to let that fire go out before you stick your face in it.
Lindsay Funke: That's funny, 'cause I was gonna say "You might wanna lean away from that fire since you're soaked in alcohol."
Lucille: Mine was better.

9. Lucille: You tricked me.
Michael: I *deceived* you. "Tricked" makes it sound like we have a playful relationship.

8. Lucille: THERE WERE 250 CCs OF YOUR FATHER IN THAT BANANA STAND!
Michael: No touching.

7. George Michael: They're adults. They're allowed to have fun whenever they want. We're kids, we're supposed to work.

If only I could write a show like this, ha ha )

Halfway through the second season of Arrested Development and I'm laughing hysterically at the Bluth family's different versions of the chicken dance. OMG HAHAHAHAHA I love Gob's and Lindsay's, but I have to say George Sr.'s dance is priceless. I love the Bluths best when they're laughing at Michael.

Ahahahahaahahah! Make it stop!

And I don't know why, but I get so turned on every time Michael and Maggie Lizer (the prosecutor) have breakup sex. What is it with Maggie? She's a complete liar but I think I like her for Michael. God, Jason Bateman is so hot.
